About Us
In 1976, Manuel Romero started Romero Glass Studios in a garage located at his Montclair residence. Romero initially started the business as an artistic hobby after working at his regular job in one of the few glass factories to produce "Glue Chip", a very special glass used in the production of Stained Glass and decorative projects.

Excellence and Professionalism

Very young, full of energy and enthusiasm, Manuel processed clear and colored glass for companies across the United States. In 1982, Romero Glass Studios opened the doors to the public in East 14th Street, a very popular Oakland street now known as International Boulevard offering high quality glass work with antique and modern techniques for commercial, residential and artistic applications.
